At the end of July, Team TLC met face to face for the first time in 5 months to navigate the waters of the Beaulieu River via kayak. After greeting each other and following a brief ‘oar demonstration’ from our guide, we entered the water one by one. Once we were all bobbing, we set off as a group. However, a few members of the team unintentionally drifted away from the group, and towards some expensive yachts. During our excursion, we were blessed with near 30oc weather and beautiful sun-lit skies above us. We are pleased to confirm that no one capsized nor took an ‘unexpected dip’ throughout the trip – although there were some close calls. Overall, we had a fantastic day out with lots of laughter and catching up. We hope it won’t be long until the team can see each other regularly again.
